LOL this is a horrible idea. The sexual activity this could cultivate would be alarming. I can guarantee this would make xbox live a harmful place for children. It's already getting questionable media on the activity feeds that everyone is FORCED to see. You want your kid exposed to porn trending on the feed,or sent to them directly in a message?

Would be cool as long as there is some sort of system that doesn't allow inappropriate pics or vids to be sent out.

Xbox 360 has Picture Messaging. But Xbox One doesn't O.o Xbox One use to not have voice messaging on it, but too many peeps complained and voice messaging is on Xbox One. Video messaging I find not essential. But Microsoft had a lot of great social media like features like Party and Avatars on voice messaging and etc on Xbox 360. So lets see them invent some more social ways for Xbox.

What if you could video chat as well as send photos and video messages with your friends on Xbox Live from your Windows Phones and other devices?! In the past, with Games for Windows Live, you could do a party or private chat with friends on Xbox Live through your PC. This feature helped bridge that gap between Console and PC gamers somewhat.

I think it would be great to be able to record yourself in messages using kinect and send it to friends.

Yes, we have a Kinect and this is supposed to be the Xbox One and yet it lacks many useful and helpful features that the 360 contains. Honestly, this is supposed to be the better Xbox. Seems like there's a lack of ideas and creativity in the world of Xbox. Video messages with the Kinect...lol, I can't even send voice messages. Wtf that's sad.

Why not have video and voice messaging everything else we use in life does.. this is supposed to be an upgrade from the 360 it's more like a downgrade... we should be able to do videos specially with this expensive connect that we have. . obama phones even do video messaging.....

I agree with this. Feels like kinect is so useless now since xbox ones are now being bought with kinect. All I use it for is to say Xbox record that. Would like something like posting photos and videos. May get a few more buyers with kinect ;)
