Xbox App on Mac OS X

I don't know if this has already been brought up, but the functionality of the Windows 10 app for Xbox is amazing with how you can stream and socialize through it. Also, you can use smart glass. But what about the Mac users? I understand we're not being loyal by not buying any Windows 10 machines, but Mac OS is useful for graphic design enthusiasts like myself. There are many reasons to get a Mac but why should Mac users miss out on the ability to connect with their Xbox account? Even if there is less functionality; like if we miss out on cross play functionality since that is more of a Windows 10 thing. But the ability to post status updates, manage friends, and stream to our Xbox... Those are all useful things that I believe many Mac users who are also Xbox enthusiasts would LOVE to have.

Need an app for remote play similar to the PS4 app on mac which works great, would love to see this on xbox also!

I've been playing my One X a lot more than my PS4 Pro lately, but it's a shame I can't stream it to my Macbook for simple stuff like managing my game library and checking on downloads (not to mention playing games). If Sony can do it, there's no reason MS can't (maybe even better).

Come on, MS. I actually have Windows installed on a VM for work, but it's such a hassle, and performance is far from running it natively on macOS...

Over 4,000 up votes on this thread alone and there are at least 50 others asking for the same thing.

For $500 for an Xbox One X you shouldn't need a chat adapter or cord hanging off your controller to get a voice channel (chat audio) back into the Xbox, it's such a pain in the *** and defeats the purpose of having an ergonomic wireless controller.

Release the app so we can connect to party chat from our computers or phones, it's 2018, lets go.

Yeah it sucks having to run a virtual machine of Windows 10 for just one app lol

Enyoing a lot the Windows 10 app to stream games to other rooms, it will be great to do the same on OSX in other places of my house. Thanks

Attention XBox One X; XBox Admin; Major Nelson

Please accept many of us are across multiple Operating Systems including OSX.

I have successfully streamed xBox One to a Windows 10 machine, but it relies on an ethernet home network.

Native games Natively Installed across multiple platforms open the door to competing and storing previous high scores and achievements.

xBox One X provides a higher standard, as do many PC Gamers who build their own machines ... as do many Mac Gamers who build their own machines (though they are fewer).

Bill Gates to me stands for Opening The Gates.... so let's get to it Major.

I want to develop games with my Unreal Engine 4 (Macbook version) to compile through a vmware virtual machine with Xbox One OS.

Microsoft could deliver a boot ISO image for x64.
