Take a screenshot when we want
It would be great to capture a screenshot of a game, an apps, the dashboard when we want and to share it on Onedrive, Facebook ...
[Mod Edit: This idea was merged with a similar idea posted by theman72HG. Thanks everyone!]
The March system update brings the screenshot feature to Xbox One.
IF (take screenshot of any app)
THEN (shareable screenshots contain porn from web browser and youtube).
Better control please! Ps4 lets you take screen shots of everything! We should have that too!
That's NOT WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT YOU GUYS!!
We would like to be able to take screenshots at any time and any stage whether we're on the dashboard in game or simply trying to do diagnostics would love to be able to take screenshots of my game Clips while in play for example. Another idea would be when I'm trying to communicate problems with my network and I can take screenshots of the system and Exedra.
Screenshots in a Time my 1996 HP laptop can take a screenshot of any point.
Thank you Xbox team and hopefully you guys get this and can easily take care of it
Is there anyone in charge

You ahould add 360 previewerz to your xbox 1 previewer list i bought the xbox one and wondered if your going to add the cod black ops 1 2 to the backwards compatible list
I'm glad the functionality is finally in there, but I'd like to see it expanded. Personally, I'd like to take screenshots of things other than gameplay. For example, sharing how my home dashboard looks like, or making a step-by-step guide for something. Understandably, taking screenshots may be blocked on certain things, like TV, media apps, or anything featuring sensitive information, but screenshot access anywhere else would be cool. Especially if you can use Smartglass to take the screenshot to make it even easier!

To "MrMasherMk2": I think it highly unlikely that the snapshot feature will ever be created as a standalone update for the Xbox 360, since that would require a very large rewrite of the Xbox 360 Dashboard code to accommodate it, but if the feature is made to allow applications as well as games to be captured - as mentioned in my last comment - it would then be possible to capture Xbox 360 screenshots using the Xbox One by connecting the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One. Of course, the downside to this would be that the screenshots will only be visible on the Xbox website and on the Xbox One.

I agree that the screenshot feature should be expanded, along with the Game D.V.R., to work with applications as well as games.
This is not complete, you cannot take pictures of anything other than gameplay
For the next update please let it be to play Xbox 360 games on the Xbox one I spent too much money on 360 games and I dont want them to go to waste so please let us play 360 games on the xbox one
March system update does indeed brings screenshot feature, but it's limited to taking pictures of games. No screenshot for apps or the dashboard. Please, don't implement half-assed feature and abandoning it just to say "It's done."
Your Xbox fan.

The new screen shot system is great. Although it can be improved on. There are a lot of great suggestions posted on this forum... Which leads me to what I want to suggest. A more user friendly method for members to provide feedback and offer suggestions, not only to the xbox live service, but also to the developers of the games and apps they frequent. Possibly in the form of an app on the console that is integrated into the smartglass app. This could be a useful tool to continually expand and improve the experience.
Would be good to add this option on the smartglass app as well.
I'm grateful that this option has finally been added. I'm trying to use it now, but it's very (and I do mean VERY) buggy. I'm hoping this will be fixed soon.
Also, why can't I upload multiple screen shots to OneDrive at the same time? I find it curious that such a thing has proved to be such a herculean task .
Help please, I can't share my screenshots because there is no option to share. The only option I have is just to make it as background and play the game. Please help, I really want to be able to upload it. It is entirely useless if I can't post it anywhere or save it at somewhere at the very least.

I just tested this featured and I was surprised on how well it's built .it was amazing to be able to have my screenshots in my phone via OneDrive within 30 seconds. I still think that 30 seconds clip provided the most awesome bragging right though...
