Make old games' DLC cheaper
Older games on the Xbox One like Forza motorsport 5 DLC are still very expensive. Forza motorsport 6 will be out very soon and the old Forza's DLC are still so expensive. Can you make it a bit cheaper. There a some more older games that can be given discount.

This definitely needs to happen.

Don't fall for the Xbox scam, you spend thousands of dollars on their products, games, videos and movies and when things suddenly no longer work (Purchased digital content including TV shows, Music Videos, Movies, etc. no longer work because they have made changes to their UI and if you don't have proof from 14 years back to current date for absolutely every single little thing you have purchased they don't care, refuse to help you and accuse you of never having bought it from their store front. I have spent days trying to resolve my issue and they totally refuse to make my 16 GB of music videos, TV shows and movies to work because I can't pull receipts out of my *** from 10-14 years ago, and yet I have videos I have paid money for even as recently as 2011 and they don't even have ANY records. I say ***. They have records, I found somewhere where I could see purchases for games and add-ons, but low and behold when I try to load the page that shows my video purchases the page will only error out no matter what browser I use to try to view it. Bottom line is they will take your money and tell you to FO because you can't produce receipts from over 10 years ago that should be reflected in your on-line account. If I ever get money to buy a new console I will never ever buy another MS product and I suggest you follow me. I am not a tech novice by any means, My profession has been robotics and computers, I know my way around any tech. , they tell me to just download it over again but it is hard when they don't show any of the video content you download. I have never purchased and digital content from anywhere but the Xbox Store, this is how they treat a disabled vet and a 14 year long Live member. Just the fees for their service for 14 years should get them to help me, let alone the over 500 games and 6 or 7 consoles since the original Xbox came out. I am on a fixed income and a new console is not an option so I guess I will just have to consider I've thrown all my money away supporting Xbox and their consoles. Too bad Bill Gates can't see this but believe me I am copying this post in it's entirety and am going to spread it to every new station, paper and show, as well as the entire Tech community, the gaming community and everywhere else I can find to post this on the internet. You have *** the wrong person over Xbox. I am a disabled vet that was using this as therapy, Looks like PlayStation will get my support from now on, and I hope you look at how much I have spent since 2004 on your consoles, games and add-ons because you will not see that again from me and I will do all I can to inform ALL vets, and the entire tech community on the internet of this farce you run and the fact you refuse to help me. I even asked to speak to supervisors and was totally Ignored. That's how much they care. They don't care about you at all, all they want is your money.
This is so ridiculous. Game companies would make so much more money off old assets. It's cheaper to buy the ultimate edition new vegas than buying the DLCs for a game I own.
Then there's Dragon age 2 $10, I would buy them, but I can't justify that price when I could buy some other full game for that.
oh god old dlc for mass effect needs to be cheaper
The price of DLC needs to drop with the price of the base game. Games that are 5 years old or more on the Xbox 360 have been reduced in price but the DLC's remain the same price as they were when released.
Alternatively, allow other retailers such as Amazon and GAME to sell DLC as codes and allow them to put offers on them and reduce the prices.

That's up to the 3rd party creators not Microsoft. Microsoft can set a limit but not control the price.
Titanfall did exactly this and it was great, besides anyone who would have bought the DLC after 3-5 years probably did.
I agree. I recently bought and finished Dungeon Siege 3 for $5. I wanted the DLC Treasures of the Sun , but that is $10 for 1-2 hours of content. I'm holding out waiting for a DLC sale , but I don't know if that kind of sale every happens.
I'll probably cave in eventually, but it would be nice to either discount both together or occasionally have general DLC sales like "20% off DLC for any game that you own!"

Stop DLC and bring back the old fashion way of unlocking content which is to simply play through challenges in the games to unlock extra maps, characters etc...
So true with Skyrim. All the DLC on Xbox Store is $45 total, but the special edition of the game (with all DLC included) is $20.
This is a hard to do because all devs/companies are putting the money on the DLC. They sell you the game for almost nothing because they sell you people not full games. and to get a full game you need to get the DLC, which is $$$
This only happen when the sales drop, until then I can't see it happen this year or the next.
The Publishers control the pricing and rarely discount pricing of DLC because they assume you will buy it if they can get you in the main game by reducing the price of that. Same on PC too.
This is absurd. I recall one of the Assassin's Creed games going on sale. The main game was cheaper than the DLC.
I suppose overpriced DLC when a game is 5 years old is better than what they do with other DLC: remove it completely.
The whole DLC thing needs to be looked at - old DLC, removed DLC, DLC for GFWL, etc.
Ridiculous that old DLC is even for sale! If a game is at the end of its life cycle like Halo 4 they should make the DLC free like they did when Halo 3 was at the end of its life cycle so that the few people still playing all have the same content.
Yes. Too often I pass on games even if the price dropped simply because the DLC is still the price of the season pass the day the game launched. If the game price should ever drop by 1/2, so too should the DLC.
Agreed, waiting for BF4 premium to come down to half price again....
