Since Kinect is no longer bundles into Xbox One I was wondering if we could have the ability to redeem both QR Codes and 25 Digit codes using Xbox One Smartglass, All phones now have cameras and QR Scanning ability and you link your Smart Glass application to your XBL account anyways so this would allow Smart glass to become more useful than it currently is

Would be very convenient to able to turn on your xbox one through the smart glass app. Also when you are not near the screen being able to hit an off button that turns the system off without having to hold the home button on the smart glass app.

Access game manuals within SmartGlass. Nice and simple, but easy to get to (anytime If possible, not just when connected to Xbox One?)1,420 votes
The Xbox One does offers functionality for publishers to include game manuals; they can be accessed by saying “Xbox Help” or snapping the Help app. However, manuals for games are dependent on the publishers to include the information.
For apps like Youtube the smartglass should give an option of using keyboard on search menu. It is hard to use controller or the smartglass controls to enter search strings.
Instead of having apps implement or extend, such keyboard entry methods should be auto-detected and given as option.
Experience should be just like how it is in messaging, i.e. ability to send and read messages via smartglass.

Allow up to 16 or more people to connect to an Xbox One using just their phone or tablet via SmartGlass to play games like figure out who is the secret spy or any trivia-style game. Board games and card games could also work really well using SmartGlass app as the main interface.181 votes
