Xbox controller battery percentage indicator
On the Xbox one dashboard it should show how much of a percentage is left in your controller batteries.
no lights to drain battery but a push buttuon timmed battery check
I see the percentage of my controllers battery charger, however, it shows up as fully charged,.. then without warning, it cuts out and then I'll have to replace the cord... kinda weird lol 😁
Nice idea, to have a visible battery life indicator. Would be even better a low battery life alarm!
Horrible to get disconnected in the middle of an online match due to battery life.
It does though... Just not the numbers.
I have a headphone symbol and abattery symbol, top right on the home screen. I am ok with how it works, can work out from that what life is in my battery
This would be good, accuracy might be the issue tho
I think this is a great idea. A very initiative idea in consoles.

This would be very useful, noting the fact it will let you know your controller is about to die, right when your in the middle of something it'll just die right after the notice.

The dashboard on the Xbox one has a battery level in the top right corner. It also sends a notification when the battery is getting low. A pop up will appear on the bottom like the achievements do.

I would say this would be inaccurate, plus, it's not really that necessary to have a specific reading on how much power your controller has left.

It does, top right.
If it was for the play and charge kit made by Microsoft/Xbox then they would be able to make it accurate.

I would like the indicator to be a bit more detailed!
You have an indicator icon in the upper right hand side. It is useful, I always look before I hop-especially for modes like Raids and Horde.

I have a feeling that accurate percentage readings of the battery will be wildly unstable due to the fact that the user is allowed to use literally any kind of AA battery in the controller. Battery manufacturers tend to put in little nuances in their batteries to give it that competitive edge compared to their rivals.
If they used built-in battery packs like the PS3/4, then this feature would likely be an actual thing.

Yep, it's sometimes too late when the message is displayed!
