Please make Xbox One Media Remote more compatible with NXOE
My whole household uses the Xbox One as our primary source for media, so therefore it has been more convenient for us all to use the official Xbox One Media Remote.
Obviously the most frequented section of our Xbox is the Games and Apps section.
However, since the Xbox One updated to NXOE, it no longer takes one simple click to access this section... but 6, yes SIX button clicks of the remote...
It's nice that the Xbox One Controller has shortcuts to access the Games and Apps section quickly... but as far as the Media Remote, it is now quite laboring to access the desired content.
Xbox fans, please consider up-voting this being that the Media Remote is actually quicker to view media than the Controller or Xbox Smartglass. The Media remote never falls asleep when idle like as the others do, nor do you have to power it back on or log back in.
Also you're able to hold it in one hand like a regular remote as opposed to the Controller, and use the volume controls as well.
Lastly, the media remote is more user friendly as well for those who use the Xbox One with their TV's and aren't as accustomed to using a controller.
Xbox, please improve the functionality of the Xbox One Media remote with NXOE.
Users go to the expense of purchasing and media remote it should be considered and included in the release of a new OS. Since the OS is pushed to the consoles if it is not compatible then it virtually makes the remote ineffective.

Been thinking of this since the dash preview and thought, oh someone will fix this.... Still waiting! Channel up and down should navigate like LT & RT, and next/previous buttons should act like LB & RB, and I agree, snapping stuff takes forever, and allowing you to use the remote on a snapped app while using the main screen should be a function too.

To add to this, the media remote should be "Assignable" to Snapped Apps (Through a "Capture Remote" checkbox in the Snap Menu as a suggestion) so that it can control your media / etc while you're gaming.
Please support my idea to create a new media remote with 3.5mm audio output
First you forgot about the Kinect and now you forgot about the Media Control...
Microsoft, it is not like you have 100s of accessories.

who cares stop being lazy and just do those 6 clicks it doesnt matter omg
I agree, has Microsoft forgotten about the Media Remote with NXOE? NAvigation in Edge works like crap with the media remote. Totally useless.
Much like the 19 button presses it now takes to re-snap the TV app, compared to the 3 presses it took before NXOE.
