Earn Xbox Rewards Points by Unlocking Achievements
Make Achievements apart of the rewards program. For each you unlock you get 1 rewards credit, so if a game has 40 unlockable achievements you could earn 40 rewards credits for that game. This encourages people to keep their games longer instead of trading them in. Perhaps this program could be sponsored by the publishers letting them decide if a game will have this available and if so publishers could include this opp in their game marketing. call the program "Kickback" with an image of a green boot for use on the back box cover.

I think this would be cool for rare achievements but not every achievement. I agree that I have days that I wish for alternative ways to ear rewards. Rather then play a game I'm not interested in.
This seems like a good idea, however there is a MASSIVE obvious problem with it. Abuse.
If you cannot see how this would happen, I refer you to steam. You make something have some sort of value and people WILL defraud it.
The amount of safeguards and restrictions ms would have to put in place to try and weed out people farming with rented games, or hacking the achievement api, or a myriad of other situations would be untenable.
So, im sorry, whilst I would actively like such a thing, im afraid its unrealistic.
there is already something like that called xbox rewards
Who wants My Xbone: Free Console & I'm paying for the shipping!
I am done with this company and their piece of shyte restrictions. If you want this mess, you can have it.
I currently have a 1TB Xbone, and have roughly 10 games, including both Tomb Raiders and Killer Instinct. I'm so done with this, included in this are ALL of the digital downloaded games I was stupid enough to get and FULL ACCESS to my Xbone account. I want nothing to do with this, and you can have it all.
If you are interested, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
First come, first serve. If selected you will receive further instructions.
No voting necessary. Death to Xbone.

Nice idea for achievements hunters!
Great idea my friend.
put it on the developers. require 1 achievement per game
I think the basis on this idea would be awesome. Should it be retroactive, or just going forward?
The concept of this is interesting even though there are similar features regarding achievements and gamerscore. x number of gamerscore you get % discount. Though, there could be another way. i.e. you unlock an achievement worth 10g (10 gamerscore) and you get 10 reward points. The idea you have is still a good one. :)
They have special discounts form time to time and rewards everytime you get 100000 gamerscore but more rewards would be very nice
It would be a nice incentive but sadly I don't think it could work. Last week my younger brother was in a Black Ops multiplayer match (playing from an XBO mind) and the game had a random person who was using hacks as it sometimes happen - which is a shame but another matter entirely.
Long story short, all his achievements were unlocked by this user, apparently he did this to all users without any way for them to prevent it.
The point: as it is today certain people would take unfair advantage of a program like the one suggested here.
I'd love this.
