Use images from OneDrive app as background
The new background update is great but not being able to use pictures from OneDrive seems like a big oversight, especially for those without a DLNA server.
[Mod edit: This idea was merged with similar posts from +KM1TCH and Brumheh. Thanks, everyone!]

I'm 99% convinced that this WAS possible. Did they remove it?
Greedy xbox execs counting their $$$ instead of implementing such simple things like this. makes me want to puke, (eg took 2 YEARS for music background play...)
i struggle 2 hour trying to do that just to find out i cant ahh
This would be amazing

This is a pretty sad discovery.
I thought this was possible just tried uploading a photo from OneDrive to use as a background image for the Dashboard no setting to allow the upload from Microsofts own software is a oversight to say the least.
I love the ability to customize and personalize. This would be a great feature for sure.
This would make the customising of my xbox one easier and OneDrive would have another usefull feature.
Frustrating that I have to connect a flash drive to change the background image since I have all the related images I use on my MS OneDrive.
Im surprised to find this post, i was sure this feature was available I came on here to learn how to do it but what you cant do that yet......... really
Make it possible to use images from different sources to make your background as unique as possible.

It´s somehow lame that such an easy feature is not added. XB1 is running on Windows and changing the background from One Drive should be automatic. I demand this feature too
Please let us change gamer pic and wallpaper. It's very easy. Steam let players change the backgrounds for free and unlimited.
I WANT CHANGE MY XBOX GAMERPIC
Please make this happen. I've been going insane trying to get a friend's artwork as my background.
This will be a great feature
Can't believe that this has still not been done. Please make this happen.

This REALLY needs to be a things! It would such a nice thing to have.
I already do this on my Win10 SP3 using images stored in OneDrive... why can't I do it on my XB1?
