"Xbox, Turn Off" prompts users with "Yes," "No" and "Reboot"
I know that it sounds lazy, but it would be nice to be able to do a hard reset from the couch.
"Xbox Turn Off" -> "Reboot"
Would perform a hard reset, then you could turn the console back on with the controller.
As many voice commands as possible for kinect!
Great idea, and like Bob YAMADA said many of us don't have cortana as she is not yet available to us.

That's a good idea. Cortana can reboot but she doesn't work in most of the regions where Xbox One is. So it is useful for many of us.

I like it. There are plenty of times when I've needed to reboot the system. Doing this should completely shut it down and start it up just like I'd pressed and held the power button.
This was a good idea and I still don't understand why it hasn't been implemented; "Xbox turn off" brings up a menu of Yes or No, why not just add "Reboot" to that list as well? They added reboot to the menu on the left, and they added "Hey Cortana, Restart" with Cortana, so why not add this to those of us that paid the extra $100-150 for a Kinect?
FYI...already work "Hey Cortana Reboot"
Making this option available from the shutdown menu would help to speed up the process and the player would not have to go through searching other menus to find the selection.

I'm sure this now works with cortana
Personally I would like:
Sleep - Instant on mode
Off - Power save mode
To be options.
I think is resolved now. xbox! go to settings, power and start up, restart now... not quite as fast as xbox turn off, restart (reboot), but its there now, from your couch.
Can't you just say "xbox restart"?
Or when you press and hold the "Home" button on the controller have that menu have the Reboot option.
HELP ME BRING XBOX ORIGINAL GAMES TO THE XBOX ONE!!!!!
reboot would be nice
Either fix what causes the need for this or add this
Go to settings and press reset console. This feature isn't needed, how do I down vote?
I voted but this should not be needed, as i read the comments i see "always need to reboot" a lot, and i find i also need to reboot, i think the real problem is the OS constantly clogging itself up, that is what needs fixing
